Amanda's Bridal

Here are a few recent photos of my bride Amanda. You probably remember her awesome engagement session at the ice skating rink at MacArthur Mall. It was truly one of the most exciting engagement sessions I had ever done. What was special about this shoot was Amanda allowed me to coach and pose her to achieve some stunning images. I call it the "Keith Cephus Experience". Amanda, you were simply amazing!!! I knew something special was happening when I gazed at her mom and dad and noticed how excited they were watching Amanda having such a great time. I can't wait to shoot your wedding at the exquisite Founder's Inn in the month of May!!

                                      Makeup artist Candice Rauch

Here are some photos from a photoshoot I did with MAC makeup artist Candice Rauch. Candice and her models were truly a joy to work with. We had a ball shooting in the streets of Military Hwy and beyond!! Be on the lookout for Candice's trendy makeovers locally as well as nationally.

Rebekah & Yevgeny, Granby Street

Yesterday I had an awesome e-session with Yevgeny and Rebekah. The lovely couple will be getting married on April 18th at Bayside Presbyterian. We had a stunning photo session on a windy day at Granby St. The lovely couple own and operate a successful dance studio called, "A Time to Dance", located in Virginia Beach. Brides, I highly recommend taking a lesson or two from this dynamic duo. Special thanks to Alecia and my assistant Marco for assisting. Yevgeny and Rebekah, thanks for a great experience. I look forward in shooting your big day!!

Back from Mexico!!

I just got back from Mexico and it was truly the shot in the arm that I needed. Having photographed 7 weddings in a busy, upcoming season, I knew if I didn't take it now, it wasn't going to happen. So my office manager and lovely wife Nadine decided it was time to put down the camera and enjoy a little rest and relaxation. Having been on five cruises with my wife, this was the first time that we took our two children, Brandon and Christian. Out of all of our vacations, this one was truly the best!! It started off in New Orleans where we met the ship. Prior to boarding, we took a tour to the French Quarter on Bourbon St. The spirit of the city was truly magical!! They will truly remember this experience for the rest of their lives. Carnival Cruise has this incentive called "Camp Carnival". Camp Carnival is a year round program that provides daily fun-filled and age appropriate activities for children and teenagers between the ages of 2 to 14 years old. In addition, there is supervised "free-play" and baby sitting services as well. The staff of the Fantasy was truly amazing. Stan the Man, the Maitre de, kept the dining room truly entertained with music, dance and entertainment. Su, our waitress, made sure the tenderloin was medium rare, the sushi fresh and the Merlot was at room temperature. Su, you rock!! Nadine, you are truly an awesome wife, friend and office manager. Thanks for planning this great vacation. The next time you think we need a break, you won't get any resistance from me again!!

Bridal Brilliance....

Here are a few shots from a recent bridal session with my lovely bride Hallie. Halley is a student at the University of Oklahoma who came down to Virginia to meet me for the first time. Her mother Jana contracted me last year to photograph her beauty daughter's wedding at Sandbridge this June. During our meeting, I decided to grab one of Maya's stunning gowns from Tiffany's by Maya. Char assisted with her lovely floral bouquet and it was on from there. In just 45 minutes, we created some stunning images. Jana and Halley, thanks for allowing me to be creative. The best is yet to come!
