Armada Hoffler Celebrity Gala

On January 19th, I had the honor of photographing the grand opening of the Westin Virginia Beach Town Center gala. The festive event was to create awareness of Kyle and Pattie Petty's, charitable organiztion, the Victory Junction Gang Camp. The Victory Junction Gang Camp enriches the lives of children with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses by providing life-changing camping experiences that are exciting, fun, and empowering. The Camp was founded by Kyle and Pattie Petty, in honor of their son Adam. Kurt & Eva Bush were the guest speakers and Honorary Chairpeople for the Armada Hoffler project. The Kurt Bush Foundation lends meaningful support for the betterment of organizations positively involved in the areas of health care, education, career training and rehabilitation as well as provides assistance to individuals who demonstrate need in these important areas of personal development. In benefit of the Kurt Bush foundation, J Records recording artist Gavin Degraw dazzled all 500 guests with his signature hits off of his new cd.

Julie Bernheisel, Director of Catering for the Westin, did a phenomenal job orchestrating the $300 per plate affair. Her entire staff did an amazing job keeping all of the VIP's happy and never leaving a glass half full.
